2010 Long Drive Final results

It was a father & son Finals to be held at the Golf Club at Newcaslte - Saturday, March 20 with the Women's Division beginning at 3:00, Super Senior at 3:30 pm, Senior at 4 pm and Open division at 4:30 pm. These are estimated times. Below are qualifiers and their qualifying distances. Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior It was a day for father and son at the 2010 Seattle Golf Show Long Drive Contest - held at the Golf Club at Newcastle. Joe and Ryan Carreras, father and son respectively, placed first in both 40-60 year old division and the open division - but the father had the longest drive during the 40-60 division finals blasing one 320 yards. Ryan came close on his final attempt with a bomb of 310 yards - not longer than his dad's best, but 14 yards better than the rest of the field in the Open division for the title and the Grand Prize of a $750 gift certificate at Puetz Golf Superstores.


Open Division
Winner: Ryan Carreras, Issaquah - 310 Yards
Runner-up: Blake Yamago, Lynnwood - 294 (Had longest of the day in qualifying - 321 yards)

40-60 Division
Winner: Joe Carreras, Issaquah - 320 Yards
Runner-up: Chris Grany, Bothell - 286 Yards

61+ Division
Winner: Don Ward, Seattle - 284 Yards
Runner-up: Bruce Connally, Sammamish - 265 Yards

Women's Division
Winner: Jennifer Lambert, Lake Forest Park - 227 (265 in qualifying)
Runner-up: Caitlin Rice, Seattle - 226 (256 in qualifying)
